Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
The signing of which player this summer would push you over the edge?

The owners are vermin..I was tipped over when they bought the club..pair of cunts.
As for Brady..I'd shit on her shoes

A striker that hits double digits in league play.

Only tin lot clubs or clubs without a plan.
Any fool can do that on Championship manager.

I think those are features of most club's transfer policies, honestly. They seem quite sensible to me.

Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
I was making a point about last summer to illustrate just how incompetent our owners are.

Our transfer policy =
a) Who is not wanted by their club
b) How much are they up for sale for
c) Which freebies and loans can we take a punt on

I think that'd be a valid point at the end of the window if we miss our targets. At the moment we're early in only the first Summer window since the move - very early days to make a judgement.

Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
B, I think it illustrates perfectly just how badly we are run and why many doubt the owners!
A club in that position who is just about to move into one of the biggest stadia in Europe with massively increased revenues and massively reduced outgoings should have be able to attract a better class of player more easily, but instead we managed to weaken the squad and as a result have moved backwards.

Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
"Ok so now they have probably spent months....again proof?" - where's your proof that they haven't? that's my point rossal, you spout rubbish and presumption without a scooby.

mentioning a player signed in 2008 as a recent signing quite literally sums you up.

enjoy your weekend.

Rossal 6:20 Fri Jun 16
Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
And you do have a clue. Where is the proof it took them 6 months? Even then one transfer that they did according to you drag out etc.....still got thier man though didnt they.
We could learn alot and alot on here would be happier adopting their approach. Where exactly are we now with the City and Belguim kid?

Ok so now they have probably spent months....again proof? But then its easy for them to wrap up deals early......but thats my point. Transfer window open and boom player is signed into the club. Everything is done so when they can stamp the deal its done and they can move onto the next one. Like i said they signed Pickford when he was away at a major tournament. Its the way we should be.

Off for the weekend now, see ya monday

......we were also higher than 7th most of the season and only dropped that low last game of the season.
Ended signing Zazza on loan on deadline day.

Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
Not sure flying high has much to do with it. We finished 7th last season and were just about to move into the OS and still struggled to attract our targets and signed a load of shit.

Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
It matters because you said they don;'t fuck about. it's easy to say that when you have absolutely no clue how long they have been negotiating for. it took them 6 months to sign schneiderlin, that's not not fucking around, is it?

fact is one again you have moved the goalposts. they have probably spent months wrangling these transfers, whilst they have been flying high. it's a lot easier to wrap up deals early, and start negotiations mid-season, when you are up towards the top of the table.

"Last 5 or 6 windows in the transfer world is recent." - so why are you mentioning a player that signed 18 transfer windows ago then?

please see my list for players we have bought who are now worth twice what we paid.

Rossal 5:59 Fri Jun 16
Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
why does that matter? Fact is the window is days old and they have two major transfers done and dusted. My point is they sew their transfers up early. Im not really sure how you can argue against it with what theyve done so far this window.
Last 5 or 6 windows in the transfer world is recent. Stones and Fellaini proof to my point players have been signed - improved and then sold on for huge profit. Im not exactly sure what your point is here Trev......or just bored friday so arguing for arguments sake

most unlike you

I am usually a glass half full bloke, but when it comes to the parasites that own West Ham, I expect to see the same tepid shit in the transfer market, that we saw last summer.

I predicted a couple of weeks ago that Everton will be the new sliced bread team on here, taking over from Southampton.

Where's my prize?

Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
If we're allowed to go back years I reckon I can name quite a few players that we have worth twice what we paid:

payet
reid
ogbonna
adrian
antonio
lanzini
obiang
kouyate
masuaku

Trevor B 5:48 Fri Jun 16
Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
So when did they first make contact with Everton? Pickford was at a relegated team, Everton are flying high, not exactly a hard decision to make is it? fact is you have no clue how long negotiations went on for.

Sorry mate but you said "nearly every signing theyve made lately is worth more then what they paid....and in some its over double."

How is listing players singed 3/4 years ago classed as LATELY, let alone a player they signed in 2008?

Rossal 5:43 Fri Jun 16
Re: Those on here who doubt our transfer policy...
Pickford linked with loads of clubs

Everton fee agreed days later signed whilst he is at a major tournament with England - how have they fucked about?

The transfer window is days old and they have got a new keeper and new CAM both of whom youd assume were towards the top of thier wishlist. Niang seems to be on the way too. Not too many clubs seem to be doing so well in the transfer market do they

Stones - £3.5M
Holgate - £2M
Calvert Lewin - £1.5M
Guyue - £7M
Lukaku - £28M
Fellaini - £15M
Delaofeu - £4M
Funes Mori - £9.5M

All worth or been sold for many millions more than what they cost
